ACIDIFYING AGENTS
Not buffering agents, although they are often labeled as such. Acidifying agents will only lower the pH of the spray solution. They are typically derived from phosphoric acid, or blends of phosphate ester anionic surfactants containing free phosphoric acid. Primary use is with insecticides where alkaline hydrolysis needs to be prevented by lowering pH of the spray solution below 7.

COMPLEMENT is a compatibility agent that is designed to allow pesticides to be mixed that otherwise would separate and form layers.
